Notre travail auprès des enfants.

Nous voici donc de retour auprès des enfants de kashaï, Bukoba en Tanzanie. Après un accueil plus que chaleureux, nous devons nous réintégrer dans la vie de l’orphelinat. Comme nous pouvions nous en douter, un énorme travail éducatif reste à faire dans cet orphelinat. Sans rentrer dans les détails, nous observons que la vie n’a pas tellement changée pour les enfants, faute de volonté de la part de la matrone.

We are back to the children in kashaï, Bukoba in Tanzania. After a really happy welcoming, we need now to integrate again the life in the orphanage. Like we thought there is still a lot of work to do. We can observe that the life didn’t change so much cause of the matron’s effort is missing.

Wir sind zurück bei den Kindern in Kashai, Bukoba in Tanzania. Nach einem glücklichen Wiedersehen müssen wir jetzt jedoch wieder unseren Platz in diesem Waisenhaus finden. Wie wir es uns schon gedacht haben, ist nach wie vor jede Menge zu tun. Die Situation der Kinder hat sich nicht all zu viel verändert oder verbessert. Ein gravierender Grund dafür ist die Leiterin (Bibi), da sie bei vielen Dingen nicht mit uns zusammen arbiter.

Comment rendre cet endroit vivable alors que la matrone le refuse, comment améliorer la vie d’enfants qui ne demandent que ça quand la personne qui s’occupe d’eux n’est pas digne de confiance??

Voici notre premier travail, accepter que la matrone ne changera pas et que nous devons travailler avec elle pour ces enfants. Savoir également que de tout ce que nous proposerons, elle essaiera de prendre le maximum. Il faut prendre en compte qu’à Bukoba, la majorité des personnes peuvent manger à leurs faim, de même que les autres orphelinats existant subviennent à leurs besoins dans des conditions correctes sans trop de moyens pour autant.

Ce n’est donc pas une mission humanitaire comme beaucoup peuvent se l’imaginer quand ils pensent à l’Afrique, car ici finalement, si les enfants ne mangent pas correctement, ce n’est pas parce qu’ils n’ont pas accès à la nourriture comme dans beaucoup d’endroits en Afrique mais plutôt parce que la matrone refuse d’améliorer l’image de son orphelinat par peur qu’ils soit trop bien présentable pour pouvoir réclamer nourriture et argent.

Nous voulions vous dire que sommes ouvert à toutes idées ou sujets de réflexion pouvant nous aider dans notre travail.

Nous employons le terme travail ici car nous le prenons tel quel, mais sachez que nous faisons tout cela volontairement et en freelance par pure passion et pour l’amour que nous avons pour ces enfants.

How to improve the life when the matron refuse it clearly, how the children’s life can be better when we can not trust the person who take care of them??

This is our first work, accept that the matron will not change but still work with her for the children. To know also that of all we will propose, she will try to keep the maximum for her. The majority of persons in Bukoba can eat correctly, and others orphanage in Bukoba work well with a minimum.

It’s not at the end an humanitarian mission like somebody can imagine when he is thinking about Africa. If here children are hungry, it’s not because there is no food around like a lot of place in all Africa, but because the matron refuse to improve the orphanage… She is afraid to have a « too luxurious » orphanage and don’t have enough reasons to beg food and money to the community.

We would like to say that we are open for all new ideas which can help us in our work.

We used the word « work » because it’s for us a real work but it’s good to know that we are volunteer and we are making that in freelance for only two reasons: we are passionate and we love the children!!

Wie ist es möglich die Situation der Kinder, das Leben und die Umstände dieser Kinder und des Waisenhauses zu verbessern wenn Bibi nicht voll und ganz mit uns arbeitet und wir ihr nicht vertrauen können???

Das ist unsere erste Arbeit: zu akzeptieren, dass Bibi sich nicht ändern wird und nach Möglichkeiten, Wegen und Lösungen zu suchen um den Kindern in ihrer Situation trotzdem zu helfen auch wenn Bibi hier ist.

Bei alle dem was wir tun, was wir geben, versucht sie für sich selbst das Maximum herauszuziehen. Letztendlich liegt ihr Interesse nicht im Wohlergehen der Kinder, sondern darin, dass sie selbst versorgt ist und sie das Leben ihrer eigenen Kinder verbessert.

Das Problem besteht nicht darin, dass es hier zu wenig Essen gibt wie in so vielen anderen Ländern Afrikas, sondern das Bibi selbst nichts an der Situation der Kinder ändern will. Vielleicht liegt ihre Angst darin, dass wenn das Waisenhaus zu luxuriös erscheint, sie keinen Grund mehr hat auf den Strassen und Märkten nach Geld und Essen zu betteln. Somit wäre ihr Business zerstört. Ein Teil des Geldes steckt sie selbst ein und ein Teil des Essens verkauft sie auf dem Nachtmarkt.

Wir wollen sagen, dass wir für jede Idee die uns bei unserer Arbeit helfen kann offen und dankbar sind. Wir machen diese Arbeit hier aus einem einzigen Grund: Wir lieben diese Kinder, sie sind wundervoll und haben etwas Besseres verdient.
