3/08/2006 - A really big step...

We are in bukoba since now almost two weeks and we can say it's moving a lot here. Just a little flashback for the persons who couldn't understand what we wrote in french:

-First thing,

The orphenage we decided to work is a misery. the children are sleeping at 6 or seven on 1 matress, and the room are durty you all can't believe. It's like they are sleeping in a garage.

When we arrived two weeks ago, Gwen, Bart, Wayne and William and the children were painting the first house two days before. So we decided in first to paint the second house and to put a little bit of our personnality also. Everyone is happy now about that.

-Second thing:

They didn't have any bathroom and a really really durty toilet, build with metal board.

Gwen, the americam woman bring 1000 dollars with her. She used it for build two toilets and one bathroom.

It's finish since few hours now...

So now the toilet and batroom are finish....

...But something was wrong. The very little children, almost ten were never washed, or not oftenly, it's why we decided, after to wash them, to pay every month one of the women who are living in the orphenage for wash the children every morning and put them clean clothes. She also will clean the house and the clothes. the other children, for sure are helping her. She was really happy, I think it's the first time for her that she get

pay for some job.

Me and kennedy, the littlest one

Mmmmh... I'm clean now !!!!

Happyness moment

Also something who seems for us really important... they didn't have any tooth brush, so we gave them one for each, with the name on it...  some lessons was necessary

-third thing:

A lot of children have medical problems, like skin infections, eyes infections, malaria.

It's why Doctor David B from TADEPA (tanzania development of AIDS prenvention)went to the orphenage, for a first exams. He gave us some medecin we need now to give them.

Doctor David B, From Tadepa

6 for everyone, it's against stomac worms.
